Curzon Ashton Community Foundation deliver in school PE lessons at our local primary schools. We deliver at Canon Johnson CE Primary School, Holden Clough, and Oasis Broadoak. We run lunchtime and afterschool sessions throught the week, and we follow the PE National Curriculum for key stage one and two.
Reception and Year One - Basic movements and coordination.
Year Two - Basic movements, coordination, and throwing and catching.
Year Three - Basic movements, coordination, throwing and catching, and and introduction to team games.
Year Four - Basic movements, coordination, throwing and catching, team games.
Year Five - Basic movements, coordination, throwing and catching, team games.
Year Six - Basic movements, coordination, throwing and catching, team games and principles of play.
Timetable
Monday: Canon Johnson afterchool session and Holden Clough afterchool session.
Tuesday: Canon Johnson afterschool session.
Wednesday: Canon Johnson afterschool session.
Thursday: Canon Johnson lunchtime session and Oasis Broadoak afterschool session.
Friday: Canon Johnson lunchtime session and Oasis Broadoak afterschool session.
All sessions are lead by qualified and experinced coaches, all are fully first aid trained and DBS checked.
