The Curzon Ashton Military Veterans Football Team train 18:00 – 19:00 every Friday at Curzon Ashton Football club, free of charge for still serving, veterans, reservists, and family members. Our youngest player is twenty eight and our eldest is 72. It doesn’t matter if you’ve played football every day or never kicked a ball in your life, all ages and ability levels are welcome. The whole point of this project is to bring the Armed Forces community together.

The team plays regular competitive football matches against other military veteran teams as we take part in the ‘North West Military Veterans Football League’. We also take part in charity events, tournaments, and football matches against a number of different football teams.

In November 2021, our football team travelled to ST Georges Park and played against the RAF Over 35’s. It was a tremendous occasion and a great experience playing football at our national teams training centre. After the match we travelled back to Curzon Ashton for our yearly end of season presentation evening.
