Every Season, the National League Trust run a national competition for Primary Schools, to find a winning school to represent each club in the National League, Nation League North and National League South in the next round of fixtures.
Here at Curzon Ashton FC, we hold two competitions, one for Girls Only and the other for Boys/Mixed teams.
With the help of Sports Students from Tameside College, under the guidance of mentor, Andy Truett, we hold the local phase of the competition over the course of two weeks.
We then have the two schools that will then go onto represent Curzon Ashton Football Club in the Area Finals with other clubs in our area, usually Oldham Athletic, Southport, AFC Fylde, Chorley, Chester FC, Altrincham, Marine AFC, Buxton FC and FC Halifax Town.
The winners from the Area Finals progress to the Regional Finals, then if successful they head of to Wembley Stadium for the National Final, which sees the winning team from the North play the winning team from the South prior to the National League Play-Off Final.
